Hi,
Altought I have searched (forum, google, ...) and read guides and how to´s etc. Most things are specific howto´s on settings and / or what mean or how to use some setting, but not general descriptions of why things are done the way they are. I have not been lucky (or clever enough ;)) to find answers.
So, folks, ask for your help:
Have not fully understood the full end-to-end process. I think I know that we demux to separate all streams as we have to "transcode" audio, video (and subs) and there is no transcoder (or not good enough) able to do it all toghether now (upss Paul Rodgers and Bad Company!) but, for example I have not clear enough what frameserving is and why do we use it ... Or the general scheme of the process.
Anyone can point to good explanations for that whole thing or explain it, or give me some hint? (I am not meaning that specific question of the frameserving but on the general matter of why DVD2SVCD does what it does _which steps, what means each step, why that tool and no other, etc._
