I set the burn speed for my DVD-RW at 1X. I have filled the DVD-RW with over 4 GB of files. It burns the DVD-RW in 20-30 minutes, max. It takes Nero 1 hour to burn a full DVD-RW on the Pioneer A04. The DVD-RW I get from PrimoDVD has the correct file names on it but it doesn't play in my computer. Even Nero discs that won't play in my set top will play in my computer. Why is it burning so fast?

I always thought that DVD-RW ONLY burns at 1x.

Has the RW been correctly formatted beforehand?
