I was almost done writing all the new html for my new website and I decided to do a format without thinking all the html and images were on my C drive.
So.. basically I'll never update it ever again because I'm not about to spend the hours upon hours of time that I spent...ever...again

Maybe for the best? Didn't seem to me (from reading the posts you made to this forum) that you had a vast amount of knowledge about the subject. On DVD to SVCD anyway.
leon: stop it.
poop: sorry. :(

This is a forum to help people. Not prove who is the best. Encoding is a lot of opinions and your method is differrent from my method. That's what makes this forum good - different ideas.
Me making a site and speding prolly about 30 hours of MY time just to help someone who is having trouble encoding is called...being nice. You, saying what you said, does not help. In fact it shows your arrogance, lack of discretion, immaturity, and 1-up-man-ship personality. So ... piss off.
This post was just to tell all the people who were waiting for me to finish that...I don't feel like speding all that time again doing it right now.
Also...for eveyrone else:
My hard drive is formatted and bare. Does anyone know of a dos based program that can undelete past a format and recover those files? I tried partitionrecovery from www.partition-recovery.com but that didn't help.

Sorry to hear about your "disaster" but not all is lost. There are a number of recovery tools available to you. On-Track has some really good ones. Use GOOGLE and do a search for that and other recovery tools.

There is one utility called Tiramisu (like the dessert) wich I used in the past with good results. Good luck

You didn't get any results with partition recover, because from I understood you just formatted your partition, but the partition wasn't deleted, right?
Many more than once I had similar problems and sometimes even complete loss of partitions, but sometimes I was able to recover some data if not all.
Mind you, it will take a long time to recover your data and it might not be in full working condition (lost file names, some corrupt files, things like that...)
Ontrack EzRecovery or Powerquest Lost & Found are good programs which will do.
Good luck.
Btw, what's that site you're talking about?

Oh, forget it, I just found your site, but...
"Coming in mid-may" isn't much of a help, is it. Outdated you said?
Unfinished, it's more like it...
Any site that helps doing fine SVCD encodings is welcome, don't give up just yet.
Cheers.
