any support for passing a 4:2:2 video stream to the codec directly?

will xvid/divx5.02 both internally convert this to 4:2:0 or can we have a 4:2:2 movie finally?

Not as yet....its easy to pass it YV12, but there are no filters written for YV12 that are any good :( (the YV12 resize of mpeg2avi, adds a blurry effect compared to YUY2 ones)

But its a nice idea & im hoping trbarry & myself can work on it in the future :)

Isn´t it possible to resize the Y-values of the video with bicubic,bilinear or simple resize and the U- and V-values with simple resize or Bressenham to the halfresoltuion of this?
