Sup people,
this post is just to say the One pass VBR method with CCE (Image quality factor and Q. factor both set at 5) solved all my CCE crashing problems and is more then twice faster then using 4 pass VBR (I would say 2-3 times faster).
I had tried everything else and nothing ever seemed to work on normal 4 pass VBR method cause CCE kept crashing. I also tried using TMPGenc but it was really slow and quality never was as good.
If you are stuck and dunno what to do cause of frequent CCE crashes use the one pass VBR method it sure helped me and quality is at least equivalent to 4 pass VBR, I compared it with lots of movies I had ripped b4 and I would say it's even better then some.
I'm not saying it will fix all CCE (make sure u install patch on the Q&A page) or DVD2SVCD probs u might have but if it worked for me and lots of other ppl on this board so give it a try!
PS: forgot to mention to use temporal smoother too (default settings) it really helps on quality.
