best software player to use for TV-out to a 16:9 TV

I have a Randon 8500 AIW, and intend to use its TV-out feature to a 16:9 HDTV for DivX files (most movie files in widescreen).

To achieve the best result, can someone recommend me a software player for this purpose (I know many can do this but but no sure which one is the best?), and what's the best resolution for ATI desktop resolution when outputting? Anyone knows? Thanks.

I also checked out BS player, it seems fine... has lots of options.

i tried this just this week with an older AIW radeon and used the aspect ratio feature of bsplayer to stretch the picture vertically so the tv could then stretch it horizontally... looked nice :)
