OK...finally i got my subs that i ripped with subrip 0.97 to work with scenarist.....however .....some subtitles are missing when i play it back from my HD.......almost every subtitle has half of it missing ..i do not see it comming up on the screen.....strange is that the synchronisation of the subs with the movie is just fine) (both audio / video and subs are synched)...However ..i don't know why half of the subtitles do show and the rest dont??? any ideas!!!
I used 720x576 for PAL .....and the covnverted withh the scenarist sub converter!!....all the rest of the settings are just like dooms guide....one thing is that during scenarist sub script converter when i loaded the file i could only choose original and input type to I-Author....i did not see anything in the output resolution box!!!....so i hope someone has some ideas...greettzzz....

could be because I never added support for pal format subs, and never did any tests with them, it just assumes ntsc (720x480). I'll add support for pal subs in a few days, been very busy, haven't done anythign with this program in months, still has some syncing issues.

What does the following mean...
Warning Sub-Picture (stream 1 in Track "Avisynth-t") is across scene boundary at 01:11:40:23
Warning Sub-Picture (stream 1 in Track "Avisynth-t") is across scene boundary at 01:51:19:04
Warning Sub-Picture (stream 1 in Track "Avisynth-t") is across scene boundary at 02:00:01:2
Anybody?
Thanks.

what's the size of your subtitle bmp files?
the warning is nothing to worry about.. it basically says that the subtitle in question will not be displayed when you jump to that chapter as it starts right before a chapter point and ends after the chapter point.

Well, I finally got my subtitles to work with scenarist through OCR, and it works fine.
But I cannot get the subs in sync with the sound, and I've figured out that the subrip somehow is the problem, it gives incorrect time stamps, and that screws everything....
Anybody got any ideas?

"scenarist sub converter"? I can't find this program on doom9's download page. Is there a link to it that someone can show me?
Thanks

Oh. That one never works for me. However I just tried that conversor utility you gave me a while back and it seems to have worked perfectly!
