Hi, I can't seem to preview my project in DVDMaestro, according to the guide it needs a decoder or DVDMaestro compatible software player but, the guide doesn't mention which players are compatible, does any one know?

DVDMaestro is a perfect professional tool!
Except it refuse to render preview stuff on my system.

I have searched the forum and found this same question ask and partially answered numeros number or times.
Howerver no definite answer as to where get the damn player or its engine from. I have searched google, dvd-digest download section and others. But the links found seem to no longer function.
I have ravisent cine player 4, it works for scenarist but not for maestro.

Thanks

It's probably because the forum rules says you can't ask for warez.
But I know how you feel. It took me ages to find what would make preview work for DVD Maestro.

It depends on what OS you have. Because I heard that the Cinemaster2000 won't work on NT.

I installed mine in it's own directory.

Is Cinemaster2000 and Cinema Craft EncoderSP the same thing, or are they two different animals??

Follow the rules and don't tell nobody where to get the decoder
from, but atleast tell the guys what decoder works for you.

That is not prohibited here...

Sorry, it's late night. you have mentioned what works for you.

The Cinemaster 2000 is a video codec that you would need to get previews working in DVD Maestro. Cinema Craft Encoder SP is a video encoder. So they are 2 different things all together.

Well, I used the Cinemaster 2000 and installed the codecs only, and it finally let me have previews in DVD Maestro (version 2.9). I am using Windows 2000 Professional. It also works in Windows XP Professional, because I have it installed on my laptop there. I don't use or have Windows NT 4.0 to test it with, so I cannot comment on that. I just "heard" it doesn't work on Windows NT. I hope that helps. ^_^

I downloaded it... Installed it in it's own directory (I called it Cinemaster 2000) and when it came time to ask me to install the player and/or codecs, I choose codecs only. Then behold previews in DVD Maestro.

De-multiplex it (easy with the mpeg tools in TMPGEnc).. but svcd-files will not be accepted because they are not dvd-specs (wrong resolution, and audio is -standard- 44.1khz, not 48khz). There are tutorials around on how to trick dvd authoring programs to think the video file is within specs though - but the audio needs to be resampled.
