I just did Bride of Frankenstein, on the original DVD the first play is the scary FBI warning, then the movie starts up next. After stripping out the stuff I don't want, FBI warning, and extra's my copy works perfect and acts like the original DVD, the movie starts up first (without the FBI warning now) and if I want to go to the menu I have to hit the menu button just like the original DVD. My question is I would have liked the menu to start first and let me select the movie to play. Is there any way I can change this? The reason I want this is because it is one cool menu

Yep. Using IFOEdit open the VIDEO_TS.IFO file. Under VMGM_MAT click on "First Play PGC". Under the table called "PGC Command Table" you will see a list of commands. Right click on the last command and change it to "JUMPSS VTSM"

There is more information through this thread. (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=20370&highlight=JumpSS+VTSM)

It didn't work at first, then where you change the command I saw where you can select under menu to root, now it works perect, so I just needed to tell it to play the root menu. thanks!!

Damn, I'd been wondering how to do this for quite a while. Worked perfectly on an old movie that I had with the same problem. Thanks jdobbs!
