I play the encoded_audio_1 and the extracted_audio_1. The extracted_audio_1 has sound, but the encoded_audio_1 hasn't sound. I don't understand what is the problem.

This is my first conversion AVI to SVCD. In my conversions DVD to SVCD never i had got a problem.

Use tmpgenc. Select audio only, open the extracted audio as the source and as the output put encoded_audio_1.mp2. Click settings and choose whatever bitrate you want (ex. 160). You can even increase the volume in here if you want. Save it in the same directory. Now launch AVI2SVCD again and select "RECOVER". Drop the box down and select muxing and cutting and hit continue.

I process a lot of frameserved captures and get audio problems all the time, this always solves them. Little more manual but it works and the output is perfect. And doesn't take but a few minutes.

Good luck.

I had the same problem with some avi. I updated the beSweet to 1.3b12 and everything was ok.
Be careful, maybe you get some new problems if you use other versions of programs as the ones in the DVD2SVCD software-bundle.

Carrier_20, with your instructions i have sound, but.....
the sound and the video appears desincronizated. At the first this is 4 seconds, but at the end of the film is 10 seconds.

Can you help me ??

Thanks.

Interesting. I use this all the time and never have sync issues. Try taking the original avi as input in TMPGenc instead of using the extracted audio. And make sure you are using audio only in TMPGenc.

Oh last but not least, under the options you are using mpeg-2 as audio right?

As you can see, the transcoding duration is very very long ?¿?¿?¿ and after this the file can't be sound.

I don't understand anything

He didn't ask for your BeSweet log he wanted your BeSplit log. If you read the forum you would have seen that you need to use BeSplit on many Avi's first.
