hi

i have a little prob here

1st my steps

1. smartripper - ripping the movie
2. dvd2avi - creating my *.d2v file
3. vfapiconv - converting to avi so cce can hanfle that
4. cce 2.50SP - converting

ok, all 4 settings in cce (4:3,16:9,..) came out the same,
i had *.mpv streams wich are too big in height (coneheads)

so, i read through your guide here, and found the step with
virtualdub to resize the avi between and then to frameserve
to cce

when doing that, always cce crashes (closes itself cpl.)
when i try to add the *.avi to cce wich is created by vdub

i tryed with avproxy on/off , both same result

btw, without that step between cce works great, no crashes or
anything like that, only when i want vdub to resize it.

may any suggestions how to solve that
or
is there another proggie like dvd2avi wich also could resize ?

thx ahead

well, finally got them working together

adding the .wav audio in vdub (very strange)

working now

but

slow as hell

came from 0.465 now to 0.150

does this come from resizing ?

if so, then it aint really a solution

anyone an idea ?

thx ahead

You should be able to gain quite a bit of speed using avisynth. You can use a script that will read your .d2v file and resize it. That will get rid of VFAPI and Virtual Dub, and you will see a considerable increase in speed, I would wager.

Good Luck!
