Currently questions regarding DV camcorders get posted in the Capture forum. I think it would be a good idea to separate DV from the rest because of its specific problems and methods.

i think very good idea:D ,

im not long in the dv thing but im doing svcd a longer time
now i put my DV`s onto Xsvcd`s and like it very much..its pure fun..
so i would love it if we have a DV-forum here(encoding,codecs,authoring,etc...)
hope doom9 will create one!

Okay, you got me. I'm in for a separate topic area.

If you were expecting a lot of comments, don'y think that you would find them. There is not much to say except - yah or nah.

Yup DV is different enough from other capture systems that it should have its own forum. Agree 100%.

Very good idea! I'm in the market for a DV cam so some do's/dont's/problems/FAQ's from a specific forum would help me narrow my search and what to steer clear from.
