I think i'm trying to hard, or it could be just as easy....

Ok i know i can make vcd with chapters with vcd easy..burning with cdrwin and fireburner..

What i'm trying to do is burn a svcd with chapters, using nero...i know vcdeasy makes the bin. cue file etc...

How can i get nero to burn a set .mpg files or a one(600mb for exp.) with chapters, is there a program that will cut up the mpg file wich is a svcd...

What i'm trying to do is burn with nero i know cdrwin, fireburner works..for some reason the apez 5131 will not recognize svcd, vcd that are burned with cdrwin, and firburner, only nero(click and drag-burn) which is sad...i know there is a way to burn with nero...

I've tried DVD2SVCD and i see the big mpg file, the chapters are there, got a 703A works fine(burn w/cdrwin-fireburner,using bin and cue files),5131 can't play but how do i make it so i can go to the next chapter etc...using nero, again it will play if i extract the mpg/dat file then click and drag to nero..
Some1 please help...

Hi Dobro

Have you tried to burn a Cue/bin fileimage with Nero ?

I understand you will have a seamless chapters, but if you cant burn a recognisable image suiting your standalone player, it's not possible to do it by hand in Nero. Even if you have your chapters as separate mpegs and choose 0 second pause, there's still a pause between the clips.

From the menu->file->burn image.

Earlier Neroversions had problem when choosen the Cue file (small scriptfile pointing to the large *.bin file) Don't know if that is corrected now but you can choose to burn the *.bin image disregarding the cuefile.

I have also edited the path to the binfile in the *.cue scriptfile to point to the *.bin in another way. I can't exactly recall but i think the problem was if your bin/cue combination was placed in a subdirectory it wouldnt work. Try to place them in the root of your drive and edit the script so you get the right path with Notepad, then Nero should accept the *.cue file. (Make sure the file extension is .cue when your ready.)

Have a trie with both options :)
