I"ve just encoded an 2:30 min movie, the D2S 109b2 ended successfully with 3 bin files around 800Mb(that"s my settings on the bitrate tab). Today i bought some 90min CDRs and i want to test them.
Is it possible to start again the D2SVCD and create only two 900MB bin files ? (i didn"t delete any of the files created from D2S)

You will need to almost start over and since most of the time is taken up by the video encoding anyway, just start all over.
You just need to change the size of the cd to 900 in the time range the movie is in and then start DVD2SVCD like normal.

Start over around 10 hours of encoding?...:)
Thanks Mark anyway for the quick answer!
One last question: Anybody tried out to burn a 90min CDR with Plextor 8432T ?

If you still have the M2V and MP2 files you can mux them yourself in bbMPEG with the split point at 900megs, or whatever 90 minute cd's are. You won't get it donw to 2 CD's but you get to test them out for future reference.

@Bach. I have never tried this method so I am only guessing here.
Since the bitrate is so drastically different woudn't the Vaf file from the first encode be of little use? I mean you are dropping about 600mb's off the encode which will drop the bitrate and the vaf file was made with the higher bitrate in mind. I would be afraid the two files would be way off from each other. I was always under the impression that if you changed the way the encode is being done it's best to replace the vaf file as well.
I don't doubt it works, but have you done this yourself when changing things this drastically? Are there any potential issues to watch out for?

Thanks I got it. I have read that CCE manual probably 5 times and I never remember seeing that. I humbly bow to your knowledge.
I am curious to see those Robshot results.
Thanks,
Mark
