Audio Syn Problem whne played SVCD on Sony

After creating SVCD using DVD2SVCD, I used TMPEGenc tools (simple multiplex) to change the mpg file's header to VCD, then burned using Nero VCD (non standard). The video looks great on my Sony DVD player becuase it is SVCD, but the audio is lagged/off by 2-3 seconds. It would be so nice if I can use my Sony to play SVCD. Any suggestions? Thanks

Why don't you either just create a VCD with DVD2SVCD and burn the images or create a SVCD and try burning it as a non compliant VCD. By messing with demuxing, muxing and all the like you are just asking for problems. I doubt anyone here can help much since this is way beyond non standard.
