Subtitle not always visible

I use DVD2SVCD ver. 1.0.9 build 2 with TMPGEnc 2.54.37.135 and WinSubMux 2.0.2. On the most svcd’s I use 2 audio-streams and 2 subtitles. When I play the movie on my stand-alone dvd-player, the subtitle sometimes disappeared for a few moments, when I go back and play it again the subtitle is visible, so the subtitle is on the svcd but not always visible on the television. I have this problem with both subtitles (when I have 2 subtitles on the movie). This happens not with al movies. I ask somebody else with an dvd-player hoe can read CVD-subtitle to watch this movie and he has the same problem. If have use TestPath to compare the cd-rom with the cue/bin files on my computer, everything is al right. For example I have the problem with Tomb Raider and Braveheart but not with The Mummy and The Mummy Returns. I used DVD2SVCD again with the same movie and I have still the same trouble.

i am experiencing the same problem! i have an apex-ad-500w dvd player. it seems to be a bug in winsubmux. (with i-author)
also i tested cvd subs wih vcdxbuild with the latest version of dvd2svcd 1.09 b2 and the subtitles sometimes work sometimes dont, THE SAME DISC. i think winsubmux have problems

I have experienced the same problem. If you rewind and replay, the sub reappears again. From my experience, the problem seems to be intermittent, ie does not happen on all movies.

this is a player prob ! i have the same situation here with one player sometimes, and other times with the same movie not. part of the problem was solved by reducing the temperature inside of the player ( installed a nice cooler ) ! i dont have any more ideas regarding this but this tweak in my player - jocel mp3000 , was ok for me.
