I have been using DVD2SVCD to backup my collection of DVD's to SVCD format for some time now with no problems. The other day I tried to rip a DVD to a VCD and everything appeared to go OK until I played it on my DVD player. The VCD started OK but after a few seconds the video started to jitter. The sound was OK. I doudle checked all the settings in DVD2SVCD to make sure that the output was to VCD format and again the same result, jitter in the video after a few seconds and the sound was OK. The title was Jurrasic Park 3. I must admit that I have not tried it again with another title. I have looked over the forum for any help with settings for ripping to VCD using DVD2SVCD but I cannot find any.
If anyone has any help I would greatly appreciate it.
Regards
Kym :(

I found the answer but no thanks to the link posted above. I had already looked up the Q&A's and FAQ. I have been involved in other forums and I know to first lookup these important areas before asking the questions.
If you would have said look in the "Misc" tab and then in the "settings" button and go to the directory where you installed DVD2SVCD and load the VCD.ini setting then that would have been more helpfull to me and anyone else with the same question.

That post also contains info on how to make a post. That was what I was pointing to. Without the proper info, which you did not give, we have no way of being able to help.
Sorry to have hurt your ego, but you tell me how in the world I would have known that you did not load the VCD.ini from the information you posted. I couldn't. We don't have crystal balls. So chill if you want help here.
