Actually this is not as much a bug
it more like not thinking something thruogh

the thing is that the auto quality control worsk i a bad way measuring th cpu utilization

if you are runnig a program in low/idle prioroty this should not be accounted for as cpu utilization and the auto quality control should run with full post processing

but as it is now, Running setiathome ensures you that you are always runnign in no post processing i you turn on auto quality conrol
and this is bad and not correct

setiathome is having a lower priorty then my media player so its should not have a influence on the post processing auto control

if you disable the auton quality control the playback is still smooth.

:)
nice point, so just disable the checkbox ;)

really, ffdshow does a good job on a 'normal' case, you can't expect ffdshow to consider every possible cpu-load scenario and check all processes to see whether some of them are low priority, and take that into account. there's a cpu-load function, it gives the current cpu load, if it's very high, ffdshow reduces the amount of postprocessing. simple, and it's good enough imo.

there are more 'important' issues to ffdshow (that concern actual postprocessing i.e.). consider the auto cpu load as a bonus feature that's working most of the time ;)

cheers

I don't even use that 'feature,' havent found a situation yet which requires me to lower Pose Processing
