This small tool adds a wave header to an ac3 file , so it can be used in virtualdub. It is very handy when you want to use the latest version from virtualdub (1.4.10) and not nandub or virtualdub_ac3. To play the audio, make sure you have the "iviaudio.ax" filter installed.
Ive tried your program out. One problem...playback is choppy. The sound goes on and off. The intervideo filter loads, but the sound is totally messed up. This program that you have made is very useful. Especially those muxing ac3 into an ogm file. Using your program, the ac3 will be accepted by oggmux and it will mux. Unfortunately, the first image loads, but it does not play past that..Possibly because of the previous reason of it having choppy playback.

Great...but I would have more use for the opposite...strip the wav header off an ac3-file with wav-header to get the clean ac3 :-) Shouldn't be to hard to add!?

I don't know if it's possible but will be very intresting to have a little program that can add/remove the wave header to all of the supported audio format like mp3, mp2, ac3, and so on... :D :D :D
