Hi,
Havent looked in depth to see if this is feasible from a technical viewpoint (ie if it would result in non compliant VTS set), but having the option to not move vob ids after stripping might be useful for example:
ripping movie on DVD9 to DVD5. Has small extras and 4:3 on VTS 01
as:
VTS 1
VOBID 1: main movie 4:3
VOBID 2: extras
VOBID 3: more extras etc.
...and 16:9 movie on VTS 02
VTS 2
VOBID 1: main movie 16:9
so, I want to strip rip out VOBID 1 from VTS1, but need to keep extras as VOBID's 2 and 3 for menus to work correctly. If my understanding is right, IFO edit always corrects VOBID by shifting them down to fill 'gaps'? (ie with VOBID1 stripped VOBID2 -> VOBID1, and VOBID3 -> VOBID2)
