CCE encoding makes video shaky and jumpy

I used the guide on this site and everything works fine until I get to the final product. The encoded video that CCE created is of very good quality but it is shaky and jumps in and out. I have done it about 3 times now and it comes out like that everytime.

DVD2AVI settings:

Field Operation: None
Color Space: YUV 4:2:2

I used the guide exactly for CCE and encoded and 4000 bitrate.
Any suggestions

If you are trying to make an SVCD, the bitrate is to high, and that may cause stuttering playback. Try at a bitrate of 2500, this should be a good bitrate for svcd.

The bitrate ist higher than the SVCD standard, but many players can play it smoothly (mine can't, old Yamakawa).

You might have a problem with the field order. Check that out (do you encode interlaced?).
