Anyone been seeing a problem with Tmpgenc plus 2.54a hanging up around 52% complete when converting and Avi to vcd. The time counter continues to run but the movie conversion stops cold at that point This has happened on several different movies. I am using the standard VCD template. Any ideas??
Do you have enough space on your HDD to write the MPEG1 file? Not trying to insult you - it's just that it's a simple mistake to make.
Arky ;o)

The drive is 36 gigs and there are about 20 gigs left. Thanks for the response. I have heard of other people having this problem too..
yep, same problem for me hangs when encoding MPEG-2 plenty of disk space using d2v or VFAPI. I can't seem to solve it and would also appreciate help.
thanks

Hello,
The two versions after .130 don't seem to work ok.

Ah, so that's prolly where my problems are comming from. I just blamed Premiere and the frameserver-plugin. My mpegs have been hanging twice (not at the same point). I think it's some sort of memory leak.
Do me a favor and check in the windows manager (crtl-alt-del) and have a look at "used memory". Mine was up at 1800 MB, a wee bit to much IMO.
cheers
