I have been using DVD2AVI for some time now to perform the conversion from a large DVD movie, along with TMPGEnc, to squeeze it down so that I can put it on a DVD-R. Now, however, when I run DVD2AVI, no changes made, I don't get the WAV file anymore. This is strange! Does anyone have any idea why?

Thanks,
Dean

Have you changed something in the menu Audio -> Track number ????

Try to delete (and eventually backup) your dvd2avi.ini.

Wich version are you using ???

So much question and no real answer ;) ;) ;) ;)

Thanks! But I still don't know what is wrong. I'm running version 1.86 - downloaded today. I deleted the ini file and got the same result. I'm trying to load the vob files as I normally would have to create a d2v file and a wav file to load into tmpgenc. I'm baffled!

Some other questions :D :D

Are you sure that your vobs have any audio tracks (check that with smatripper for example) and check what is the track type (AC3, MPA, ...) ???

Test the same thing with Dvd2avi 1.76, none of the following version add something to the vfapi part (except some bugs).

And if it still doesn't work please send your config of the audio menu.
