Can anybody tell me how to do this please?
I have tried TMPgeng but, it seems to loose the audio on part of the file.
The Video is OK, but you have to lip read?
Any ideas or different software that can be used?
The disc I am trying to do is Spiderman 3 disc svcd.
thanks
Download DV Tool from the Doom 9 download section. It can join/split files far better than TMPGenc. And it works with spiderman ;-) .

Yeh, Merged the 3 files together, but now I need to change the video size and the audio bitrate, but when I try to de-multiplex the file, it only goes as far as the middle of the second disc would be?
I have tried to de-multiplex just the CD2 which is 735 MB, but when the file gets to 306 Mb, it completes and leaves it half done.
Any ideas

I hope you're not trying tmpgenc again for the demuxing?
If you're trying with dv-tool and are failing, you could allways try BB tools, or pulldown.exe.
You could also try renaming the scvd parts to *.VOB and run them through dvd2avi just to get the sound out (maybe even the video since you're obviously going to re-encode that too ... and here you'll need to know avisynth/mpeg2dec)
cheers

Thanks ulfschack for your help.
i have tried what you said and renamed them to a vob file, ran them by DVD2AVI and get a d2v file, but no audio file to insert into TMPGeng?
Any more help???? thanks

P.S Just edited this.
Selected MPEG audio, and got a mpa file to play the audio.
Will try this overnight.

It appears to be, I have ran it by TMPGeng, and created a dvd compatible mpeg of about 2.6GB, so I am now going to put it into dvdit, and see what happens.
Thanks for all your help.

DUDE!! It took me about 3 weeks to figure out spider man. Did you know it is PAL? You have to change the resolution AND frame rate also to make it NTCS or else a dvd player will not read it. If you have any questions, ask me. I did it with a menu that lets you play the entire movie and a chapter menu. It works in most newer dvd players and playstation 2. I also re-encoded the entire thing and ran it through 2 pixalixation filters and a color filter and the movie looks like a dvd on a TV.
It can be done, but if you got the same 3 svcd version i got, it's going to take work.

Same brighness problems here. Your going to have to re-encode the whole thing, but when it's loaded in tmpwg click on SETTING then ADVANCED. Then double click on sharpness and jack everything to the max! Then single click on basic color correction. Trust me on this, it will take a long time to encode, but it's worth it. It looks so much better.

Make sure not to adjust the brightness, but rather the gamma.

I have the 3 SVCD Pal Spiderman set with the Hulk teaser trailer at the beginning. I am trying to convert it to NTSC using DVD2AVI, VFAPT and CCE with out much luck. Viper can you post your method with the tools and settings you used? Also where could I find the 2 pixalixation filters and color filter? I have TMPGE beta 12 I just haven’t used it very much. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
