Film effect from divx 5.02 codec :)

I kind a liked the film effect from this codec. I am using it setting it in the middle. I don't know if this unsharp the image, does it? Whatever, is there a equal filter in nandub, what is name ? Should I put befor resizing and before null transform or after?

I like the film effect too :)
I dunno if a similar filter exists... but putting something like this in the movie will kill compressibility i think

DivX5's film grain effect is a decoder-only feature. You can't use it during encoding, because like Jonny said it will kill compression. Nandub/VDub doesn't have anything like it, because it would only make your movie uglier and harder to encode.
