Divx5.02 pro gain installer

When I install the new divx codec it gives me an error (CRC error)when trying to install the divx.dll but when I try to watch a divx movie (divx 3.11)it playes fine. is that file neccecery for encoding divx5 or just decoding and how can i avoid that error? :confused:


I dont know if its only my copy of the istaller that I downloaded from doom9 or its everyone but it has a bad package (the CRC prob.) I downloaded it again from divx networks and it worked out fine.

Well, I downloaded it from Doom's pages and had no problem installing it.

And the "divx.dll" is the encoder, the decoder is "divxdec.ax".
