ive tried out the new xmpeg 4.5 and i see that while xmpeg now loads the vob, it wont compress it cauz its still too large.
anyone know of a fix yet???
(happens with any of my vobs over 4Gb)
using win2k so the 4gb+ file is ok for the filesystem.

it's a known bug u should just let the vob files like they are and use the DVD.mism plugin to open them instead of creating a vob fiel with size >= 4GB

Why don't you use the *.ifo file to load the ripped DVD files??

think, he ripped all the vob's into one file,... (so ifo parsing won't help if the ifo file wasn't modified,...)

its not too much of an issue really. just at times wish it wasnt there.
i usually do two approx halves then merge them or leave em seperate as need be.
