divx 5.02 + .ogm don't mix?

Did divx 5.02 break .ogm playback for anyone else?

I think it's the smooth playback option.

I have the same problem with the Smooth Playback option by playing back OGM files but all other new functions work very well.In the DivX forum they told me it's a known problem.
But the other features work fine :) ...so I can accept this problem.

That and vobsub doens't show any subs with ogm...
didn't try with "normal" files yet.

besides, it only break playback with smoothing enabled, everything else works great :)

No, normally DVobSub works great even for the Ogg format. Just have to make sure you do not have Ogg's own subtitle filter installed.

Eh, I was totally wrong - VobSub (DVobSub) works just great with Divx 5.0.2 - it was subs that were faulty, not divx nor vobsub (well, I think they are - it's just with 1 fim that it doesn't work).

No, no problems here. Ain't it supposed to be disabled for smooth playback with lower end CPUs?

mm it is really strange i have Duron 900 with 256 mb of ram (in either w98 and XP i have the same problem) setting the Divx 5.02 codec to watch any kind of divx(because the film effect that is huge)if i deactive the smooth option to see movies encoded with the older version of divx 5 and the divx 3.11, i have no problems , but if i didn't check that parameter to decode movies encoded with divx 5.02 i see big problems in smoothness!so what i have to think is that is a5.02 bug because it seems that result more and more heavy that the oldest codec versions..and it cuold be a walking regress.... ;(
