How do people r using gordian knot and encoding with high resolutions like 640x...?
I know that from my results of using gordian I have to choose a low resolution like 576x... or even 512x... :( . I have to choose this resolutions or the compressibility test and the video size/first pass size will give me a low percentage and I need to get a value between 65% and 75%.
But do you guys can encode with a resolution of 640x...? And still getting a good quality final job. Are you choosing noise filters (doesnt's this blur the image? ) And what about the extras (put noise filter before...) do you chose them also?
I am making this questions cause I am basing on the realeses of some groups that are using gordian knot and 640x... as resolution!!!
I also heard that they have a standard method of making divx with nandub. Do u know that method ?
Sorry, last question - Confirm my teory: There r 4 type of movies Fast-dark, Fast-Light, Slow-Dark, Slow-light. Shouldn't exist a type of profile ?
