After using ifo edit 0.91 and after stripping it. And it finished correcting the VOBU pointers i then moved the missing files video_ts.*. and vts_01_0.vob i attempted to play this through ifo edits play dvd feature to check that the movie still played but when i pressed the play dvd button it booted the film up and then came up with a dialogue box with the following message "dvd warning an illegal navigation command was encountered".And the film would'nt play through ifo edit or cyberlink.

Any ideas would be gratefully received

The quickest way to get an answer is to start by searching. Try the search button and type: illegal navigation

The Illegal Navigation seems to happen if the Title-Set has more than one Title. This causes 1 disc to contain all the titles and the other one only to have some of them. Derrow has a good reply about how to overcome this in the Ifoedit forum.

He certainly knows his beans that guy !!!:D

I was having trouble doing Harry Potter to two DVD 5's with an illegal navigation. I did'nt realise that you could go into the IFO files and change the commands in the tables. Easy Peasy Lemon Squeesy when someone tells you how;)
