DivX5Pro 2 frame delay + ffdshow

buenas tardes
I've performed a search but nobody seems to be really sure about this (neither am I). Having done some DivX5Pro rips with B-frames I kinda feel like the audio is always just a little little bit too early. DivX5 decoder is known to compensate the 2 frame delay with DivX5 B-frames AVIs, isn't it ? Also does ffdshow ?
Comparing the same movie with both filters I hardly can tell a difference, since 80ms for PAL is still quite few; it could as well just be imagination.
Now, could someone (who really knows the facts) please clear this out once and forever, whether this 2 frame delay has to be taken into account when muxing A/V, respectively any difference between DivX5 and ffdshow filter ? Could as well be a good question for some FAQ, I think.

Not sure but just had to set the audio 100ms in front on a DiVX5.01 encoding someone gave me. The audio was behind rather than in front as you suggest.

I bet this was just a common synch problem.

Well I did some testing again comparing frames with a some AVIs (without and with AC3). I compared frame numbers in BSPlayer and in GordianKnot with the AVS and as expected the AVI and AVI/AC3 files are 2 frames delayed. I tested both DivX5.0.2 and ffdshow filter; the same applies to each one.
Finally, I'm gonna trust my eyes and ears and testing and will take this delay into account in future.
I don't know about OGM since BSPlayer won't show the frame numbers in this case, but there seems to be the same delay as with AVIs.

I bet most people haven't noticed this delay so far, since for PAL 80ms is not that much.
