Well, I kinda answered my own question,
I tried simply transcoding individual vobs without bothering to see which ID's & cells were involved and it didn't work this time. So Derrow is correct but I still don't Know why transcoding between ID's can't be done. It's probably navigation related but Why??? Also stripping the studio logos didn't work.
My latest idea- What about transcoding individual vobs and then re-authoring them with say DVDit.
