Can anybody explain me why in some movies the image is good when it is still, but when there`s movement the image gets very bad with lines around the ojects that are moving. I´ve tried deinterlace but i get the same results. Can anybody help me please.

I`m going try to attach a .jpg with a example but i think that i can`t attach files in this forum. Why is it?

Ever tried ivtc? see http://www.doom9.org/synch.htm
Did u try to set the deinterlace threshold to a lower value e.g. 0 ?

Thanks for your answer Selur.

I`ve have read the guide you recomended, in http://www.doom9.org/synch.htm, but i find it a little complicated (I´m new doing this).

I´ve tryed diferent values in deinterlace threshold but i get always the same result, i`ve tryed also in flashkmpeg 0.6 and in this version i don`t have this problem, can you explain me why.

I forgot to tell you that i use divx 4.12, do you think it might be the codec, i will try with divx 5.0.2

don't think that's the codec, but i recommend to use DivX5.0.2 instead of 4.12 ;)
If Falsk0.6 works, why don't u use it?

Ok i will use flask 0.6
But how can i configure the codec for 2 pass encoding, this version don`t have the option for 2 pass encoding

If u want to pass encoding go for Xmpeg if u don't need deinterlacing&Co. Otherwise u might want to check out doom9s DivX5 guide,..
