GRR! Where can I find an FAQ about the Azid, Normalize, and Lame cmds?

I remember once seeing a like...test or something in html format with these m$-dos proggies. There were screen shots too, showing the process. Someone went through all the steps and started with Azid and the most efficient cmds for encoding audio.

I know that there are tons of different ways to setup the audio for lame, but I usually just do the --preset-type insane or whatever. My main question is what's the setting for azid and normalize?

the easiest way to learn the commandline switches is to play along with a GUI (http://doom9.org/ac3tomp3.htm). if you don't want to play with it, just read attached helpfiles.
