i have six .vob files and one .ifo file (ripped with sr). will i load the .ifo file with power dvd .. nothing is do. what do i wrong? why can i not play the .ifo file? (if i load the vob files .. i can not change the language and i have no capitels) sorrie for my bad englisch .. my german is better :)

In order to play the DVD (titles and all) from Power DVD you need to rip it's entirety and open the main IFO. If you want to play just the ripped movie (what you appear to have), instead of opening the IFO, you have to "Open Media Files" and then select the individual VOBs in order. You can then play them back as a group. While it is playing right click on the screen and choose from "Audio Languages".

You didn't ask about chapters...

Chapters are outlined in the IFO. If you play using "Open Media Files" there aren't any chapters... but you can move to any point in the movie by clicking on the timeline bar.

did u try the "open dvd from hard disk drive" feature in powerdvd 4 ?
open the ifo file and you'll able to choose chapters, submenus, langages...

yes, i see the chapters .. but i can not jump to them .. if i jump to any chapter .. the movie starts from the beginning.

may be your dvd has some P-UP's (protected operations like change language during playing, move to chapters, ...).

try to remove them with ifoedit

rinkel -> yes, i have a video_ts.ifo. but if i load the video_ts.ifo in power dvd .. i can not jump to any chapter, the movie starts than from the beginning.
