View Full Version : Extract Audio per VOB from DVD

I am trying to extract the audio from DVD so that I can burn the tracks to a CD (I have DVDs with AC3 and PCM). I want a tool which can extract and create a separate .wav for every VOB on the DVD. I rip the DVD onto the hard drive and have used both DVD2AVI and BeSweet but have the following problem:

Using DVD2AVI if I try to extract the audio I get 1 .wav file. If I extract each VOB separately this works but I have to sit infront of the PC and repeat the task up to 30 times instead of starting the process, going away for 2 hours and finding everything complete when I come back.

Using BeSweet with the Besure GUI (without DTS) I get a list but the VOB order is changed. When I try to re-sequence I get a violation error and have to exit the program. Also the program seems to have problems handling many VOBs. (I am using Windows 2000)

Can anyone suggest a more efficient way of extracting?
Is there a utility available which allows me to extract the music from the 5.1 audio track but discard the dialogue and effects?
