ifo&cce working method again ?

I have tried searchin reading threads, it appear no one have ask/had a problem with this before or I'm just missing somthing. Please correct!

So here it goes:
The original vob had 3 audio substreams 80 ac3, 81 dts, 82 ac3.
I needed just 80 and 82 so i stripped 82 via vob extas.
After i loaded the corrected ifo into ifoedit it shown that there were only 80 ac3 and 82 ac3 left as expected. But...

The vob/ifo produced by scenarist contained 80 ac3 and 81 ac3.
About same situation with subtitle substreams...

As the result of the above, I can only play 80 ac3 english sound substream.

Is there a solution to this? Maybe a substream id correction option in ifoedit or something?

use a padding stream. a dummy .wav stream (short) that you can insert into the scenario in between your 0x80 and your 0x82 stream.

Take winamp, grab a small song you have on your hdd, convert it to wav.

Drag and drop the .wav into scenarist, it will ask you if you want pcm or ac3, select either, i choose ac3 usually, then when you're doing your audio, put your 0x80 stream in, then the .wav, then 0x82 stream. Since your stripped .ifo (from ifoedit, when you stripped streams) wont have 0x81 in it, you wont be able to hear the padded stream on the dvd anyway.

You can also use vstrip to strip the 0x81 stream, and then reinsert it into 0x82, but the padding way seems easier to me.

alternative method:

you can also change the values of the audio streams in IfoEdit:

- open the original ifo
- double click VTSPGCITI
- choose the pgc in which the film is located
- scroll down to adress [000c]
- doubleclick on audio 2 stream status
- change the values from 33280 [8200] to 33024 [8100]
