It's maybe beginner question, but I don't see it in guides nor in download section.
I need filter for MP2 decoding. Currently I convert MP2 to WAV with Winamp, but it's not elegant solution.

you should try using MADplay for decoding your mp2 into wavs.

i think you can get the free (for non commecial usage) fraunhofer freedvd filters from doom9 software page ( http://www.doom9.org/Soft21/Filters/freedvd.zip ).

VERY SOON (it's already working on a private build), you'll be able to use these free filters with the mode2cd dshow filter to play VCD and SVCD right from the cd. this will be an end of an era of commecial only players for svcd ;) stay tuned.

there's at least one free player that plays svcd and dvd from the cd, but it's not very convinient to use. it's called videolan from http://www.videolan.org/ . it's opensource. but the mode2cd dshow filter allows playing of s/vcd with your favorite dshow based player.
