ok i have used smartripper to extract the audio off a dvd and i have a file with all the audio vobs. i have tried usin graphedit as it says in the guide that i can to extract the audio from those vobs ,but wen i try to listen to the first vob in graphedit it plays but i hear nuthing.checked my sounds everything works anyone know aq prog that will simply take those vobs and make/convert them to wav or mp3 something like that so i can add that to the dvd video i have conv to avi. hope that all makes sense? the guides dont seem to b helpin.
thanks

ok well i went thru the guides exactlyt step by step i get ass far as gettin the ac3 sound vobs from the dvd iv also tried just reading them of the disc and converting using vstrip,dvd2mpg,besweet the lot and it just dont seem todo it even tho i rip the sound exactly as ur guides say with smartripper. r these guides upto date bcos i noticed ur pics of some progs r slightly different to wat i c. even wen i try to listen to the vobs as ur supposed to b able to before u change to mp3 e.t.c i hear nuthin.{yes my sound is on ive checked all that)
Try using Smartripper to rip the vobs and then using DVD2AVI to get the ac3 file. Then you can use Besweet or another suitable program to compress the ac3 to wav or mp3 or whatever.
This is at least the way I'd do. I'm not familiar with how Graphedit works.

the graphedit audio encoding way is eventually going to be removed completely from any guide... besweet and headac3he are much better.
