Cheers folks,

could you loan us Nic for a few days ?

The MCF muxer/demuxer is going to be final soon ( its already working fine for audio and subs ), means its all in libmcf now, so next step is a parser and DirectShowFilter now.

Ingo will be helping but not leading the work on the project, so we need Nic a few days ... any objections ? No ? Thanks, so please send him over to IRC openprojects, #mcf in the next few days ;) ...

robux4 ( Steve ) is the one in charge of the project now, so he is also the one to contact as i am still in China ....

Regards Christian

Any outcome ? Havent been able to talk to robux4 or de_xt about it. Did they inform you about the plugins architecture we are planning to use for 'known codecs and fomats' ?

I strongly suggest Xvid should be amongst the first supported codecs for MCF !

I taked to Steve a bit....I know he's got issues with storing codec data at present....not fun. But im sure he & Ingo will resolve it :)

Yeah this problem is quiet annoying, there is some extra data to store for each kind of audio formats for example...
