To import a video asset in SpruceUp, it has to be an Elementry Stream (which .M2V is). To get the audio ES to import, simply insure that it has the EXACT SAME NAME as the video asset that you want it to correspond to. For example, if you video file is named MY_FILE.M2V then your audio file would be MY_FILE.AC3 or MPA or WAV. You always have to rename the audio file that DVD2AVI strips out (but once renamed, it is okay).

Once you re-encoded with CCE, you will have to reauthor the DVD using any authoring tool that you desire. Spruceup does a fair job (this is what I use), but it doesn't allow animated menus nor does it allow sound in menus. However, it is very good at setting the chapter points where you want them. I usually go through the movie and write down the chapter numbers and the times, so I can get the chapts back where they started. You can capture the basic menu backgrounds to reuse in your product, and use INVISIBLE buttons on top of the place where the original buttons would go. With even more effort, you can use a bitmap editing tool to even REMOVE text for old buttons. The resulting product is pretty close to the original, but once it starts playing, you can't tell them apart.
