You need to split the movie into 2 disks or in your case, into a double sided dvd-r. Refer to this guide http://www.doom9.org/mpg/ifoedit-2dvdrs.htm :)

I have tried the method mentioned in the doom forums about being able to split a DVD 9 in half using IFOedit. I have never gotten this feature to work!

Mine crashes with a "Fatal Error" everytime, someone posted that IFOedit wasn't able to handle VOB's over 1 GB? Thought at first it was an issue that IFOedit has when using Windows XP, but....not so sure?

Any guidance on that subject would be greatly appreciated!!!

I have tried another method posted somewhere else that said to use Smartrip and rip half the chapters in one folder and half into another, then use IFOedit to alter the TS and VOB files...which I have done only half way sucessfully, as well.
I was able to get the first ripped chapters to play when burned on DVD, but...can not seem to make the right changes to the second group of chapters to put on the second disc to make it play???

So...as you can see.....if anyone can help me....I think other people are experiencing some of the same issues!!

HELP!! Thx in advance!!
