hello everbody,

just one question about the muxing and the splitting in nandub (eg. 1400mb movies)

when muxing audio to your video stream you can change the interleave option... and give a delay value...

after that:
when opening the final movie again to split... both, video and audio, are set to direct stream copy... but what about the interleave option for audio? do i have to deselect it, avoiding to use it? if it is still selected, does it have any influence on the final splitted movie parts?

thanx for help,
flo

A big *sigh*...

why don't you simply test it, what do you loose in case there is an error? 10 minutes?

You'd learn much more this way.

(hint: it works with those settings.)

tested it...

both cases work. filesize is even the same... the only thing i noticed is a difference in seeking in the movie (divx5).

with non-interleaving at splitting... the movie runs fast for a short time as it is usual, but the audio doens't run normal... only for 2 sec. or so... after that it gets hacked until it is in sync again with the picture.

so long,

I also noticed that when splitting divx5+ac3 movies I had to set interleaving values to 64/64 or 96/96 becuase I had just a little (very hard to notice) jerkyness of the movie. Setting one of these values always helped.

take care
