Hey,
My source is AC3 44kHz 2.0ch 224kbps. I triend encoding it to MP3 using vbr 3 (92min 128ave 192max) and resample it to 44.1kHz
My problem is I keep gettin end results as MP3 32kHz
Is this because my source was Mono? Can some1 please explain and tell me how to do it right ;)
Tnx allot.

Per the forum rules please use a subject for your post that is somehwat descriptive:devil:
As for your problem, it has been discussed many times in this very forum. At low bitrates, LAME will automatically downsample your audio. A quick search will give you more information.

I have searched the forum and you are right, there are allot problems similar as mine...but not quite the same. So if U would please tell me what to do, I would really appreaceate it ;)
AC3 T01 2_0ch 224Kbps DELAY 0ms.ac3 (48kHz: this is my source)
MP3 2Ch 96kbps 32kHz (this is what I get after encoding)
What I want is a MP3 file with minimal 128kbps 48kHz or 41.1kHz. Could some1 please tell me how I must set my HeadAC3he if I want this?
Thanks in advacne.
MaTTeR,
I've changed the title, sorry if it wasnt really clear for u. Maybe u could help me out now? ;)

I'm pretty sure that in one of the discussions I've read on this that it was not advisable to lock the sampling rates. LAME downsamples for a reason at low bitrates such as 96kbps. I haven't tried this but it looks like it's real obvious how to lock the downsampling in HeadAC3he. Click the downsample button and change it to 48kHz. With BeSweet I think you can add the line -resample 48 AFAIK.
I've changed the title, sorry if it wasnt really clear for u. Clear for me? It wasn't clear for anyone:o
