Which OS?

In Win98SE or Me, you can run msconfig, go to the Startup tab and uncheck the Trickler checkbox. Then reboot and Trickler will no longer load at Win GUI start. You can then delete it if you wish but it's not necessary.

BTW It gives the Access is Denied... message because it is resident and the file is locked.

You only can't delete it as long as it's running.
Go to the Task Manager (ctrl+alt+entf in Win98/ME), mark the trickler process, kill it, then delete the file.
Or just do what JimmyBarnes said, but you need one more reboot for that :)
