afaik only ezboard makes updates of their board...

now the people bitching about rule 6 may finally see why we have it.

and aren't you guys glad we're not at ezboard anymore? I'm sure they'd have shut us down, too.

there was a discussion about the possibility of beeing locked down in the ultimateboard's internal Admin/Mod forum. This was the second time some asshole officially told ezBoard about the pircacy topics on the ultimateboard - and unfortunately this time, ezBoard reacted...

AFAIK ezBoard warned Q-Bert some days ago and he tried to backup the whole board with a programm called ezReader, but he said this programm would be buggy and that it wouldn't work flawlessly. He also told that the board will continue as a vBulletin as soon as he finished his study and earns money (or something like that, I don't remember his post 100% and for some obvious reasons I can't look it up anymore). So maybe this vBulletin step will come now....hopefully.

well.. the vbulletin guys will do the import for you provided you have a valid vbb license and request for it.. that's how we made the switch.. I wasn't aware there were any other import programs.

Q-bert's is and will be always the best german board for me.

I don't think so. I think that someone is going against Q-bert personally. Before the board was banned, the q-bert webhosters have kicked most of his uploads (no warez!) and q-berts.org was closed too. I don't think that this is a coincidence :( .

Everyone who's been reading the Ultimateboard since the reopening, saw that there were quite some changes (regarding warez etc.).

Whatever, we all hope that Q-bert will have the time and motivation for a vbulletin third try.

In the meantime we can hang out at Hawk's ezboard forum :D .
