I've used Smartripper to decrypt, IFOedit, etc, etc.
I'm using Record Now Max to burn back the disc, and it plays okay in the set top player, until a problem occurs
The problem i'm getting is that about 3/4 of the way through the movie, there is a glich, and the disc sticks for about 4 seconds, then sometimes comes on, or sometimes jumps to the next chapter.
Anybody out there got a clue, coz I surely haven't. I've done all the usual routines as posted on the sites.
Someone said that it might have something to do with the layer change on the original disc.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
Cheers.

What was the film you tried to RIP as branching DVD's can cause this problem. The only other thing that springs to mind is the DVD-R media you are using.

Is it a budget disc? as they have been know to cause problems.

Let us know what the title was? Then you might get help from someone else who had the same probs.

Best of luck.

Cheerio!

The 3 films i've tried so far all had the same problem.

Species 2, Mad Max and Pearl Harbor.

I'll give a more expensive disc a try, and we'll see how that goes.

Cheers for the help !
