Get the latest copy of IFOEdit.

1. Open up the IFO for the file with IFOEdit.
2. Click on VTSI_MAT in the top window.
3. Scroll the bottom window down to offest [00000200].
4. Doubleclick on "Video attributes of VTSTT_VOBS"
5. Click the radio button under "Aspect Ratio" that says 16:9
6. Click the box under "Static" that says "Automatic Letterboxed"
7. Click "Okay"
8. CLick on the "Save" button on the main screen.
9. Click on "Yes" when asked whether to save the .BUP as well.

If you have more than VTS you will have to do this for each IFO you want set for 16:9.

All done.

i'm trying this now, i had to search for 16:9 to find this post
spruce sucks w/ only 4:3 aspect, without this forum i'd be DOOMed!
what is the most commonly used author program alternatives are there to make dvd vob n ifo files from m2v and .ac3 :/ there's gotta be something better than spruce (better as in somewhat easy as and more features like 16:9 aspect)
