Maestro preview window

Does anyone know if there is a way to FastForward (Scan) thru the time line? I want to be able to view(play! not still images) different parts of the movie in the preview window to verify the movie is in sync. Presently i have to watch it all to do this. Seems there should be a way to skip around and start play at different points without creating chapters.

I am using the Ravisent Cinemaster for preview .

uhh, drag the playcursor thingy that moves when you play normally.

Well, i tried what u said, but i cant grab it....i get a round circle with a line thru it...is there something i have to do in the setup to allow me to grab the line?

right-click and select "Set play cursor" or something like that. It will set the play start point to wherever you want it.
