hi, i wanna talk about about dvd2svcd and divx.
-why it is so slow to encode a divx file if it is smaller than a dvd.
-i know that i have to convert div3 files into divx4/5, but why??? can dvd2svcd in the future be more compatible with those formats?
-if dvd2svcd can convert divx files, why not avis or mpeg-1 or asf.
-another problem came to me last night, i have plenty of movies in my hd, but i noticed that some of the files were not divx or avis, instead, asf, mpgs and wmv. is there any tool that can recognize the file, saying wich format is and fir example the version of the divx file.
thanx.
-one thing more, i noticed with the last version of dvd2svcd(v1.0.9 b1) that CVD subtitles made with i-author sometimes they stop apperaring, so i have to rewind a bit the film, 10 secs..., and then play and thatn everything works fine, but 3 or 4 times every 40 mins... very annoying.
sorry for my bad english... ;)
